CrossCulture Community exists to help people grow in the knowledge of Scripture and in the life of the Spirit — being shaped, corrected, and matured through both, until Christ is formed in us.
Our discipleship training is built on a single conviction: the Word and the Spirit of God work together. Scripture alone, read without the Spirit's illumination, can become mere information. The Spirit's leading, untethered from Scripture, can drift from the truth. Together, they form and sanctify a life.
This is the heart of sanctification — not a program to complete, but a lifelong process of being made holy, taught by the Word and led by the Spirit, in the company of others walking the same road.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”2 Timothy 3:16–17 (ESV)
Every part of our discipleship training reflects these three commitments.
Scripture is read directly and carefully, allowing the Bible to speak for itself rather than leaning primarily on theological commentary.
Growth is not merely intellectual. We seek the Spirit's work in conviction, understanding, and transformation as we study and pray together.
Sanctification is not a solitary pursuit. Discipleship happens in relationship — mentored, accountable, and shared across cultures and generations.
Our discipleship training is being developed as a structured pathway — from foundational study, into mentored growth, toward a life that multiplies into others.
Core Scripture study — who God is, who we are, and the shape of a life under the Word.
Mentored growth — walking with a guide, being shaped by the Spirit through prayer, study, and honest accountability.
A mature life that disciples others — carrying the Word and Spirit's work into a new generation and new cultures.
Discipleship training is being developed for members of CrossCulture Community. If you'd like to be notified as courses become available, or want to share your own thoughts as we shape this program, we would love to hear from you.
